A friend from India pointed out that the recent elections in India (with more than 300 million votes cast) were all on Electronic voting machines and nary a problem.

Sure they took 3 weeks to complete it, given security and other concerns..but that is still faster than the 2000 US presidential elections:-)/Ravi
