"Cost to play Halo 2 on a XBox: about $200.00
Cost to play Halo 2 on Windows Vista: A lot more than $200.00"

This seems to be a popular argument, however invalid. It only costs whatver dollar figure you want to assign to playing Halo 2 on either system if that is all you are using that system for. It may cost the ammount to be ABLE to play by having the prerequisite hardware, but I am not buy a computer and/or OS to play a single came. I am paying that amount to be able to play many games, work from home when necessary, do photo and video editing, commuicate with friends and family, access my home security system, shop and research and many other things that may or may not benefit from this OS upgrade. Being able to play a game is only marginal benefit, but may be enough to make me upgrade sooner than later.

Hoestly, I am more interested in having HDTV DVR functionality in my HTPC.

I remember some years ago hearing about an option to have a radiator coated in a catalytic material to help reduce ambient pollution as you drive. The theory being that the heat from your engine would heat the coating on the radiator to bring the material up to an effective temperature, much like the catalytic converter in a car works best when warmed up. Fuel cell vehicles will need some for of radiator and they should be able to clean pollutants out of the air by having some form of catalytic coating. I also think it would be great, especially in the greater L.A. area in which I live, to look at applying such a coating to air conditioning systems as they have to move a lot of air to pump that heat out of the house. If this would not be too pricy, it seems like it could be a reasonable way to help clean the air in the best place possible, our homes.

...is not the freedom to obstruct an investigation. If I admit to knowing the name of a murderer, or of a source who has contact with said murderer, I would not have the right to then refuse to relinquish that information without facing criminal charges. The only exception, of course, is when giving that information would result in self incrimination. I see no other article in, or amendment to, the US Constitution which clearly defines such a right. I also vehemently reject the right of clergy to hold confidential the confession of a violent criminal. And I hold a priesthood calling in my church.
