If you have children you are playing the odds, just like the rest of us. There are no guarntees in genetics, especially when it comes to procreation. It's a roll of the dice. Many of our new early screening techniques in fact give no guarantees, but ratios. They give you an idea of the likelihood of your child having defect X. If you want sproglets have 'em but be aware - you kiss your sleep in goodbye and battle for control of your favoured console;)
