    "I _wish_ that all hardware companies would release open source drivers without specs." What do you think happens when, 1-2-3 years from now, the product is End-of-Lined? No more support, buy a new card. Not so great for those poor children. Specs are way better because drivers can be MAINTAINED even if the manufacturer EOL's the product, goes bankrupt or anything. This is what free is all about.

    This is why, if you try the PoC with FF1.0.7 or 1.5RC3, FF CPU usage will rise to 100%, DoS'ing it. These stupid FF r0x0rs comments are becoming more and more dull every day.

    ahem, have a look at the newest gen of cell phones in Asia, 100% of them support ipv6. I think these huge corporations have a goal in mind. New killer apps are on the verge of becoming "public" and telcom infrastructure has to be ready. Want it or not, ipv6 is going to happen. Speculation about "When" or "Why" is useless. Just wait and you'll see.

    Already done. Just as I stated in another previous ipv6 story, this is what ipv4-mapped ipv6 addresses are :

    ::ffff:64.125.75.24
    (see http://www.tcpipguide.com/free/t_IPv6IPv4AddressEm bedding-2.htm)

    btw you can't have 3 ':' in a row in a valid ipv6 address.

    Of course it can run on the same network. Just need a v6 connectivity, just as you have a v4 one. You absolutly don't need multiple nics! Are you one of those who think an interface can only be configured with one ipv4 address ?
