Ok, the main reason why I would use a PC is for Games, games ported to the Mac just don't run as well, any ported game really.

If WindowsPPC was a reality (and popular), motherboard manufacturers start making motherboards for PPC architecture. This would really help Motorola or IBM, PPC chip costs would drop. Apple would be able to produce cheaper Mac's
Games.
New games for Windows would be written for PPC architecture because it's better.
Games ported to Mac would probably run just as fast or better on Mac OS X (if using OpenGL).
In the end i think that Apple would win because Mac OS X is a better, friendlier and more powerful system. Buying a new Mac would still be slightly more expensive...
