Also ditch IE for Firefox, http://www.mozilla.org/ you will thank yourself. It is much less vulnerable to exploits. Try the wonderful Mike Lin's control panel http://www.mlin.net/StartupCPL.shtml to detect and delete nasties trying to boot. Total cost for these security upgrades? $0.00 unless you want automatic updates (which I recommend considering the size of your network). I'm certain the authors would appreciate donations, however!
