1. sure i like the idea, a hardware firewall is a physical barrier which should be much harder to overcome than a software barrier
2. Why buy both video cards at once? I like the idea of buying one good one now (ex Geforce 6800GT) and then when I need an upgrade in a year I can easily pop in another one cheaply. I look at it as improved upgradeability.
