Agreed... I've bought several big ticket items at the Sony Store in Ottawa... ONLY after shopping around extensively at Future Shop, Best Buy and the little shops.
Not only did they beat the competitors prices, the also offered in house service for free! I also found the staff (2 guys I dealt with on seperate occasions) to be very knowledgeable and willing to get answers to my questions.
