Sadly, these day's it's actually cheaper to buy a new printer than a new ink cartridge. (Make that 2 new cartridges if you want to actually be literal about it)

People who really feel that they are being treated like dirt do not stay immensely loyal. Hm. There's been about a million made for TV movies whose storylines would contradict that theory.
