interesting you say that. I I remembered using gtkpod for copy audio file to play on my laptop . the process was so simple that the owner of the ipod wanted ubuntu and gtkpod on his computer.
I am currently undergoing this same predicament for last 6 odd months. I am asked to a sample project especially if the size becomes much larger and whatever the project. The enthusiasm is much lesser, the amount of collaboration is much lesser, and the prize for doing this is even lesser. I end up not doing it getting bored. Though feeling guilty of not being able to do assignments dog me. But, unpaid assignment irritate me much more.
I for myself cannot find an answer for this though.
I am on firefox2 on ubuntu edgy. I find th rendering of hindi/indian languages really bad. the previous version had decent rendering(was it 1.5?). There is this patch lying around . do everyone wanting indic support, patch firefox ?
I hope firefox (whatever version) takes care of its default rendering engine.

Damn , They have given out binaries and it can't be used for 64-bit OSes.
