After years of assigning roles and responsibilities without ever getting meat on our intranet - the only place anyone documented anything - I got fed up, closed it and set up a mediawiki in its place.
Ported some of the old intranet, documented as much of my stuff as possible to build a skeleton and get things rolling, and after only two weeks, people who WANTED to contribute, did.
