I've never been able to. They've always ended support of a purchased machine at 5 years flat, based on inability to ensure either parts supply, or EOL of SKU, or flat up stability of the platform after 5 years of hard use.
Since when? I've been dealing with HP for purchasing my gear for a very long time, and the max you can extend your warranty to is 5 years total. 3 Years on the original purchase, plus an additional 2 by carepack.
Either you're crazy, or every HP rep I've ever dealt with has some 'splainin to do.

Plus it does an Excellent job of LDAP integration, so if you have an existing AD Domain or other LDAP implementation, it will tie right in with SSO capability.
I've just rolled it out to all 14 of my branches, and it works like a charm. No problems what so ever.
I may be mistaken here, but wasn't Skype created by the people who sold Kazaa to Sharman Networks? Sharman's the ones pulling the crap here.. I don't recall (Though I never used Kazaa back then) Kazaa being loaded with Spyware to begin with?

Agreeing with the Above on this one. I've just rolled out Openfire with Spark to my 320 workstations and it just works
