i thought maul was iridonian the race that has horns and look exactly like darth maul??
to the parent of this thing, there are more than just one sith lord at a time, as evident in having darth vader and emperor palpatine. as of yet palpatine was still a chancelor or something so that ugly bastard is prolly just some other sith guy. the dark side doesnt necessarily age u, or make u physically decay. however constant battle and mental trauma would do that to anyone, force sensitive or not. my take is that is just some crazy looking sith guy who doesnt take much stock in his physical appearance, he is also prolly alien which would explain his crazy ugly look.
