This is a well known problem. Firefox is a memory hog. Since you leave it on for days...it consumed all your system memory and crashes it. The reasons for high memory usage..XUL.
I am glad fedora sucks & distro's like SUSE and Gentoo are doing so well. I had been using Redhat since version 5 and I think that redhat stabbed it's fans in the back. First they started a payed distribution network and abandoned it midway. Then they started fedora which is as buggy and unpolished as any distro can get. My whole department has switched to suse...fedora has too many issues.
Money blinded redhat. Atleast Suse never pretended to be a non-profit buisness & it has a product that is more polished than anyone else. Novell even released the yast source code. If you want suse... just google for suse 9.2 torrents.
