I ride a Vectrix. (new to the US, in Europe for the last year and a half). Fully electric, 70 mile range, recharges in 2 1/2 hours. I don't burn out, do wheelies (or weeve through traffic) but I do have reliable electric transportation that is quiet, economical and fun to ride. What makes the news is speed, acceleration and noise. Why make (or buy) a bike that goes 148 mph, Ludicrous. Unsafe. Give me trunk space, passenger capability and nothing with the moniker "killa"
