Maybe you should look into the religious views of the people you reference as religious even from the source you site. Albert seems more of a politically correct (don't want to offend people who look up to him) atheist to me...
It's not always that easy to openly state your beliefs, especially if you are a public person. I'm not and I can't dare to express my views in fear of how my family and work colleagues will react.
Maybe you think that you are the slowest programmer. I used to think so too, because of the same attitude that you have. But at some point somebody from QA told me that they love testing my code, because it has far less bugs than anybody else on the team and if they find a bug I actually fix it the first time and then without introducing 10 new bugs. The rest of the team has lists and lists of bugs, because most of them are cowboy coders. The biggest cowboy coder also has the reputation for quickly banging out new stuff, but he is driving the project manager nuts with all his bugs, which constantly causes us to miss deadlines.
Check out Qt Creator http://www.qtsoftware.com/products/appdev/developer-tools/developer-tools. Version 1 was only released a couple of months ago and it is already very impressive!
