You do not lose anything if someone else buys it.
Yes I do. When too much people buys a lot of crippled devices, the offer of non-crippled ones go down, and it may happen that I could not have the choice of buying a device that respect me.
Anyway, showing people what the device really is, is not a bad thing. Education FTW.
