SMARTS is cool stuff, but even intra-domain correlation is not working properly. Making it impossible to correlate OSPF/BGP notifications with failing hardware that was detected by another domain manager (e.g. the networkprotocolmanager) - resulting in not so good rootcause analysis.
But anyways, RCA is a big problem when running over MPLS clouds, even for SMARTS.
