The concept is exactly the same (disposal>flower), and the biodegradable cover is proposed as the first stage towards a fully biodegradable mobile phone. Even the idea of the seed being visible was already there. The site is still incomplete, but if you download the PDF paper you can see many tables, images, scenarios and launching strategies (appendix). Actually the idea there is further developed as a marketing strategy to change the relationship between the user and the electronic device.
