My fish asked me today how they know whether it's alien or not. Well, truthfully I'm not really sure; perhaps they get scavenge for signals, and if a signal seemed to have a pattern, they take it. If the signal is alien then great, otherwise we leave them alone to the fish at fort meade. It doesn't hurt to intercept other nation's signals doesn't it, plus who could have guessed what the "pattern" really means without deciphering first? If it's chinese...awesome!
