Ironically "work makes you free" does fit the meaning, but just like the phrases "Operation Just Crusade" in the Gulf War, or use of the phrase "Final Solution" -- civilized people avoid such phrases because of the cultural connotations assoicated with them.
Get over yourself, it's clear from your OP that you intended to be clever. I am not claiming you are a racist, Nazi, or are ignorant. You just missed the mark. It's just like donning a swastika and claiming that it's an ancient religious symbol; or in the US claiming the Confederate flag is a sign of Southern pride rather than a symbol of hate.
