Im also on your side with this one, I have had 2 sony mini-systems that both quite working for no reason at all. And there stuff is way to expasive.
And on your little saying or line at the bottem of the post "Linux on a Powerbook. The iron fist in a velvet glove." what about freeBSD, that would be an iron first.
