Fair enough, "entirely random" was a bit much on my part. Good insight pointing out the patterns in my example.
1. Create a passphrase: "Every day I go on Slashdot and read news for nerds, stuff that matters." 2. Translate it: EdIgoSarn4n,stm. 3. And there you have a "passphrase" that's easy to remember and acts as a 16 character entirely random password. -- i know this isn't the first time this method has been described, but i didn't see it mentioned in this thread.
