It just astonishes me how many places these Russian troll farms end up. I've been on some pretty obscure forums of late, and when the topic of Russia comes up, all of a sudden you have these streams of messages about how bad the US is, or how Russia isn't a threat to anyone. I think back over the last five or six years about all the posters I just sort of disregarded at the time as being nutty conspiracy theorists ranting on about the evils of the US government, and now I wonder if at least some portion of those posters really are just Russian trolls. They've pulled off some pretty interesting, if odd stunts, like duping Texan secessionists.
Do you have any evidence that Google is in fact stealing the contents of your email? So far as I understand it they do keyword scans. Now that may be unacceptable to some, but that's not the same thing as "stealing your information".
If a web interface is properly secured and you haven't completely disabled your browser's security settings, why would it be any less secure than IMAP or POP?

You have to know at this point that the US elected probably the worst President in US history, so bad that he even makes James Buchanan look sympathetic in comparison. Whatever Clinton's problems, she's a rational human being with political experience who actually understands how the government works.
