I think that Apple could make a good swing as mainly a software company. OS and iLife and Pro Apps for video and sound. Only supporty hardware systems that are "Apple Certified" to run that soft. License fees to help with Industrial Design on all hardware too.
Also sell iPods and music related hardware/software.
I'm intrigued by the concept of having a mac that runs windows too. Although we'll probably get those next year, with the new Mactels, has anyone come up with a PC inside a working G4 Powermac?
That would rock, 2 machines in a single box, seperate power, video out, and monitors etc... maybe a keyboard/mouse thing you can use to work on both.

Um, and all this means what? That with thousands of dollars of equipment and a few phd's working on it, you may be able to listen to a person's cell call?
Of course it's not secure, Bush's pals have plenty of backdoors in... if they make it easy, it's more plausibly deniable.
