Regardless of how they'll license the code that comes out, this is the type of thing that is worth applauding. I'm a fan of big business(es) trying to do the right thing and give back to those in need.
How important were these e-mails to the father? Shouldn't it say something that he deleted them from his e-mail program? The article says that he e-mailed his folks from Iraq, so the father should just open Outlook Express and check the Deleted Items folder....
Do you think it would be interesting to watch? I'm not so sure.... seems to be moving pretty slow. Of course, I guess you could run the video back at 50x or so.
Let's see.... Aliens from other galaxies, folks with random numbers of body parts growing from who knows where. Rich characters that have been killed innumerable times by the same other character. A depressed robot. A cow suggesting what portion of him is the best to eat....
All this, and I would have to agree with you; Douglas Adams would never have had the imagination to include anyone but whites....
