Paypal can retrieve past transaction info.. eBay can.. any online store can.. that's pretty stupid.
You shouldn't be able to patent something that is so commonly used, like microsoft and their "your buddy is typing a message" thing.. they've got a patent on that, and they shouldn't be able to.
