Belarc Advisor (search it on google or download.com) is a great little utility that creates a profile of your computer (hardware and software) and creates a local HTML page that can be printed and/or saved for reference. It comes in very handy to have a hard copy of this information during a crash or a conversation with tech support. I have used it on every computer I own and can assure you that it is spyware free.
