I would agree that the have 100 percent of the addresses in the US (after all that's their job). The addresses are usually pretty stable, in that they don't change that often. There are always new addresses being added, but they don't change very often. The names associated with the addresses are changing constantly, with people moving and changing their names (getting married).
Back to the original post: I don't mind the USPS charging for their zips and addresses. I work for a company that purchases this information and uses it for large mailings. We also use a third party product for standardizing, sorting and creating mailing labels. Having the USPS database makes it much easier on us making sure that the mailings are accurate.
And he'll probably be doing it on a Mac!!
