  1. problem? on When Should You Quit Your Job? · · Score: 0

What is your problem with using C#/VS anyway? If you're concerned about corporate "evilness", then it's just a matter of more or less no matter where we work. How do we escape? Write open source and ask for donations?

  2. no need for programmer optimization on Optimizations - Programmer vs. Compiler? · · Score: 0

The programmer should not need to worry about optimization. Like human language, when it is simplified and reduced to two words 'yaba' and 'daba', the interpreter should know what we are talking about.

Most of you only think of games. Like the Germans, I'd rather focus on the photography aspect. Hmm...

  4. www.rottentomatoes.com on Google Announces 'Google Movies' · · Score: -1, Redundant

This site hosts a fairly comprehensive collection of review from all publications (mag, paper, web) and rate movies accordingly. I haven't seen any movie for the last couple of years, thanks to the site.

  5. Environmental impact on The Indirect Case For Life On Mars · · Score: 0, Troll

I urge NASA to refrain from attempting any drilling exploration on Mars as it will seriously disturb the underground biosphere in Mars, hence harming the potential life-forms that they may find. So whatever life-form they find will be dead anyway.

What kinda 'weapon'? Any country has some weapon. WTF is weapons of mass destruction anyway? Now WMD == nuke? Bacterial growth media? We have plenty of that in the beer factories in town. Oh btw, how much 'conventional' weapons are there in the states? WTF is 'conventional weapon'? Does that include cluster bombs? The army wasn't using water gun are they? What's more dangerous? One nuke or one million cluster bombs?

I'd doubt the street vendors (i.e. triads) are, or have the ability to track down BT users - I've seen those 'shops' hire "summer interns" from mainland to perform technical sales duties (i.e. explaining what the software does), who are on visitor visa. They just sit behind the cashier and collect money.
