    I think too many people here are looking at this as I write in xml and now it gets translated into my preferred language. WRONG. On page 5 of the article, the document clearly states that the code will be stored in an extensible format but edited just as normal. In other words, as a programmer this change will be transparent to you. Who cares? I do. Storing code in an extensible format provides an extremely powerful platform for scripting, which is key in any development environment. Perhaps just as importantly, I can port from one language to another in a matter of moments. Combining two differing languages becomes very easy. Quite a bit of software development these days is being done for and on middleware. It should come as no surprise that we extend this extrapolation to compilations and languages.
