I had one of those 5510's, I think it did an okay job - although the PC software side of things seemed a little ropey.
I got it on contract for free (and that was literally a few weeks after it was released). Lasted me about eighteen months until some of the buttons stopped working..I think it's discarded in the bottom of a drawer now.
I think the new Nokia version seems a little more promising, if it drops to less than £100 on contract I'll probably get one.
