Why is every cable company moving to digital tv? In my experience, digital isn't really that much higher quality than analog.
The only reason I can think of is to control the media. If its digital, it allows for things like the Broadcast Flag, whereas with analog thats not possible.
True, they have been general dicks when it comes to supporting America. They helped us out during the American revolution, and we helped them out during WWII, so I guess its somewhat even. It just disappoints me that all those snooty French hate Americans so much....
I really do hope this becomes a trend, spimming is one of the most annoying things _ever_. Changing screennames every week isn't my cup of tea.
I just hope that they start arresting those annoying people that send the "send this to 88 people in the next 4 minutes or a ghost will rip your eyes out and eat your soul!" chain mail.

Americans are already pissed at the French for not helping with Iraq, hence the "freedom fries" name-change-fad that happened a while ago.
I'm sure France stating that they don't like American culture dominating won't help their American popularity very much.

Its not spelled wrong, spimming is the act of spamming through instant messages.
