I am all for stem cell research but when it becomes standard procedures decades from now I can so see this happening.
I have an 7 year old African Gray parrot who has an unbelievable vocabulary. He can sing whole songs, mimic every sound and person in the house.
He is quite intelligent and talks back during conversations, he tells you when he is hungry, when he wants out of his cage and even tells you when he is tired and wants to go to bed. However he talks in the third person, I suppose because that is how we talk to him. So are we now talking about a different part of the brain?
One part for speech and another for figuring out HOW TO talk?
