As an isp mail server admin, it is often impractical to bounce spam email. 99% of it comes from bad email addresses. So these emails sit on my mail server for 5 days until they get dumped. We have tried to address this by increasing the retry interval as the message gets older.
Reading the explanation at http://www.d2fusion.com/education/essay.htm reminds me of Vladimir Larin's book "Hydridic Earth". His theory was that the earth contains free protons moving within metal bodies. Over time these come to the surface and on their journey combine with oxygen to make water, and carbon to make hydrocarbons.
As a layman, I am ignorant, but the parallels are striking. Perhaps cold fusion is an explanation for why Helium is in oil wells.
