And what is that table supposed to demonstrate? Are we assuming that the people who perpetrated the crimes are all atheist? The genocides may not have been driven by religion, but that doesn't make the perpetrators atheists.
My car (I'm a student) is pretty much just an engine and brakes on 4 wheels. Manual transmission, no ABS, no traction control, no power steering, not even a radio.
And I can tell you, I'm not the one in the damned minivans cutting people up on the damned roundabouts.
*mutters*
Illegible number plates carry 3 points and a £1000 fine. I know it'd be harder to find people using this stuff but if they do that's what they'll hit you with. They've mostly been going after motorcyclists with illegible plates as they use a diverse method of avoiding detection (smaller plates, different fonts etc).
I wouldn't say internet ads have been tamed. Sure there are less popups and popunders. But whatabout all the new ones which cover the page (Fox is a major offender here), or noisy ads (I don't know if America got subjected to the jamster ads much).
I use the cheapest Canon scanner available. Admittedly I typically scan in black and white or grayscale so I get pretty good speeds, but even the colour scans are pretty quick up to about 300dpi. It captures the lineart of my comics nice and sharply, and the few times I've used OCR it's worked pretty well with only a few mistakes that mostly stemmed from the original document.
For light users a cheap scanner usually suffices nowadays, and Canons get my vote.
The internet option of DS2 is terrible, difficult to get working and certainly not for novices. Linksys routers are particularly troublesome for this game. I haven't been able to get it to play online through my USR router yet.
Aye, I've not actually had a problem with firefox in a long time, but recently I've been noticing that Flash is becoming a real problem.
Seems that some of the flash ads that are so popular these days like to use 100% cpu. It doesn't happen with all flash, so whether it's a problem with the plugin or the ads I don't know. I'm just glad there's good old Adblock to rely on.
Already done that. Myself and several others produced a print suitable minicomic in pdf format that is free to download, read, print, sell. The only restrictions we had were no changes to it allowed.
There've been some distributed at various conventions in dead tree format. Watch out for "Deadly Bear Attacks".
As for my normal comic, I don't worry about it. It's purely a hobby and I'm not after any compensation for doing it.
Not here. I fail to see how the first engineer that came out managed to miss the frayed decaying section of phone line that the second engineer pointed out (and yes, the second one was gray haired).
At least flipflops are easy to take off, I really need to stop wearing boots when I fly.

Credit card offers are considered a complex task? What kind of world is this turning into?
