"if your not part of the solution your the problem", thats like saying well i know my world sucks but maybe it'll get better some day. ho hum. stand up for yourself. damn ppl are boneless and stupid.
i have to completely agree with you on this. if programs had a central/consistant place to share an communicate configs the problem would be solved. i think the the *REAL* problem is that linux is a UNIX clone and by definition thats all it will ever be if the community keeps its prejudices towards other innovators, corporate and/or "open". making such a radical change would destroy what linux is, an uptodate Unix clone and turn it into a better than it was operating system, with ALL its shit to gether. never float, linux/open source is better left as is, let someone else come up with the next best thing thing.
sorry, just had to get that off my chest, maybe its just tuesday and all these freaking trolls and life is just getting on my nerves.
BTW 3/4 of my life is on a linux box somewhere. -jkg
i've gone around 84. i have to admit with the aid of dexadrine. after 2 1/2 days your eyes go, then your brain. anything with grain or texture starts to bleed and move. then your depth perception goes. your muscles are next. at that point you might aswell be asleep because your entire body starts shutting down "sort of like a military academy, bits of me keep passing out..." i've only done that a few times. i've gone 2 days a lot though. its that third day that does the trick. by the way its nothing like tripping, its more like spacing out.
from my experience of with using computers for (~13 years) i've found that a user interface is an excellent way for me to learn what something does quickly but once that learning curb is over it then begins to hinder me. for instance if someone was to pick up a copy of autocad say version 9 or so. that person would probably be in hell if he just wanted to play with 3d objects but for someone that uses autocad every day on there job version 12 would probably do them no more good than 9. point being that the perfessional only wants to plot his point and build his model as fast as his interface and knowledge of allows and a mouse just doesn't cut it. jkg you can't be a newbie all of your life.
where doing something very similar also. i say sue me. there is no such thing as bad press. besides, we've got a few lawyer connections that'll keep'm busy for a few years.

i tend to agree with you. trying not to judge from there web site content included id have to say that 10 years is a little near fetched. i wouldn't put my money or a$$ into anything that says it will get me to the moon in 10 years. besides a low orbit flight would do.
