For a while I was receiving the Sprint wireless bill and Amazon orders for some guy. He never paid his Sprint bill and eventually it got up to over $500. I think they finally closed his account so I stopped getting those. For Amazon, I changed his password and closed his account. His credit card was on file, so I could have been a lot more malicious, but fortunately for him, I generally try to be a nice person.
As far as these types of emails go, I get at least a few every week. It's pretty remarkable how many people don't know what their own email address is.
