Ok, i looked this up. come to find out, the reason it was origionaly rated "R" but did not actually have the nudity in it is because the ratings for this film came out before the Directors made certain cuts in the film. the origional cut "Diretor's Cut" Did in fact have Nudity in it. Unfortunately Ive never seen that version though.
When Star wars first hit HBO, they had it listed as rated "R". This can be varified by looking it up in old 80s TV Guides. It was listed as rated R due to 'brief nudity'. That part I can't explain to this day. I dont remember Star wars having any nudity whatsoever in it.
