No, EDS may not be perfect. But I do wonder for those of you out there who manage 10 servers and 50 desktops, whether you've ever tried managing 3.5 million desktops, and 10,000 or so servers. Perhaps more 'aware' of what are likely to be the issues surrounding this, than Bob and Jims PC Maintenance company.
Perhaps you also noticed SUN in the list of interested parties, with whom EDS partner to sell their Java Desktop System based on Linux.
