Umm.. after reading them relatively carefully, I don't think I'll be using that software. Basically, you give us your info, we update ourselves on what you're doing, we send it to the Cayman Islands and we promise promise promise never to give it to anyone else unless you agree, we're bought, subpoena'd or otherwise compromised. Somehow... I don't think so.
Peace.
I save as.odf by default, then if I have to I will convert to.doc. I send every document out as a.odf, then when it's requested I resend as.doc. Eventually, the irritation will get high enough for them to let me install OOo. Peace
Lets see, it has to be GPLed or BSDed, run on every platform, be insanely robust, free as in beer, tested so thoroughly that it ought to make the law of gravity look like shaky science. So, based on those criteria, what DNS software could hold up?
Just wondering.
Peace,
V
What kind of a idiot would you have to be to take that challenge?
There is no *way* I would take that bet, whether I knew I was right or not.
If they lose,
DF wins 2x:
1) DF gets a free macbook
2) DF gets notoriety for calling a bluff.
They lose 2x:
1) they cough up significant cash
2) they are humiliated before their peers.
Should they win,
they win 2X:
1) a free macbook ( psst.. there are 2 of them)
2) they are vindicated
However DFireball/still/ wins by gaining recognition for making the challenge.
Sorry, only a moron whose balls ruled their brains would take that bet, and that's not a way to bet and win.
Umm, I think living in the Main Line ( an 'leet area of SE Pa )is starting to get to him. The corporate beasts he is surrounded with are undermining his ideals and moving him to the Empire and away from the light. Eric, please don't do this to us. RMS apparently always been right, it's all about the license, not the software.
