  1. my my my on Barcode Tatoo as Permanent ID - Arrgh! · · Score: 1

Should stop people having tatoos in their private places... Imagine the scenario - walk into a shop, buy some groceries and in a line of 5 people are asked to reveal your tatoo for scanning... "yes they're sharing a drink they call loniless but it's better than drinking alone..." - Billy Joel.

  2. so what about... on Teen Freed for Linking to MP3s · · Score: 1

Isn't this like that article ages back about a Dr. that sued Demon Internet for someone posting a deflamative comment against him on usenet?
The idea being that Demon Internet 'hosted' the article thus were in some way guilty for that.

Are you still a 'co-conspirator' if you have a link pointing to the root of ya mates page somewhere, www.blahblah.com/mate and he has a www.blahblah.com/mate/mp3 dir?

So ummm, glad he's free - just seems extremely dumb to me... Hell imagine if every major company employed someone to spend time surfing the web looking for their copyright material...
Maybe it's not that far off (cringe)?

    my 2c? nah - just my non-sense...

  3. Semi-related links on Cloning Another Extinct Species · · Score: 1

Just a list of a couple of films that I have seen that include something to do with cloning or DNA problems that give ya some ethical/scientific thoughts about cloning and 'messing with life'.

    "Species" and "Species II".
    "The Thing".
"Jurassic Park" + "The Lost World".

Anyone know any decent sci-fi books or other films... feel free to add em on...

  4. Supertoys & AI on Spielberg to direct Kubrick's AI · · Score: 1

Wasn't AI a film/book that was later renamed to toys? And is this the sequel that's being named to the former name of the prequel?

Probably getting confused between films though...

  5. Sounds Good... on Computer Programming for Everyone · · Score: 1

I've never used python or do I know anything about it but wouldn't Java be a better choice?
