As Linux Torvaldz once said (more or less), if you build if for idiots only idiots will use it, ahem Windows ahem. If you can't remember the name of a piece of software, then you must fall into the aforementioned category, in which case you should install Windows.
People who are dumb enough to pay for software in which a comparable open source alternative exists without searching for it are those who can't find/remember the name of a piece of software ipso facto let the rabble continue to be restrained by the less than schlocky operating system commonly known as windows.
There is no need to redistribute the money. When you make a purchase using your LinuxFund card it doesn't charge you more, its MBNA that donates the money per purchase.
I say we just leave it and let it accumulate interest and someone can start up the LinuxFund again and support open source projects with it. Wouldn't mind assisting, but I have no time take a top level Administration role.

At UB they have disabled ping. And also setup a program similar to nessus
