Maybe so but how many people are actually keeping track of this kind of research? I do to a certain extent because I have Usher Syndrome (a genetic condition) but I bet most people don't. I think it's great that they make announcements like this so the masses get to know about it. Maybe this kind of exposure will help more stem cell research to get done someday. If that happened then I might not have to face a future where I'm blind and deaf...and other people with genetic conditions may see cures in their lifetimes too:)
It's spacious and has pockets for just about everything techy that you'd want to carry. It even has a nifty padded part made especially for laptops:)
If you don't fancy a messenger style bag then check out the rest of their range. Being Victorinox all the bags are sturdy and will last you absolutely ages so the prices aren't bad when you consider the lifespan of the things.
Oh, and they offer global tracking of your bag. Not sure how that works though.
Maybe this is stupid but it seems simple enough...
Dip the astronauts in water (I'm thinking a toilet U-Bend shape). The dust stays in the water and the astronaut comes out clean. The water could be filtered and reused.
You get water filtered vacuum cleaners and apparently they're 100% effective and all the allergy groups approve of them.
Would it be possible to implant this in people who can already see? Would the images clash?
I have Usher Syndrome, part of that condition is the development of retinitis pigmentosis. It causes tunnel vision and night blindness.
For the most part I see well enough - I don't need a cane or a dog yet. However I'm practically useless at night-time or in nightclubs due to the low levels of light.
If this could be equipped with a night vision camera it'd be a nice enhancement for people like me!
Isn't that kinda stating the obvious given that clinical trials have to be done?
