Almost everyone has ideas... Very, very, very few people can create software.
That is why software can be sold. Software is not the idea. It is the implementation of an idea by highly skilled people. No different than most other sellable products.
This is a business model many of us would like to see die.
Why? There is a place for proprietary software and a place for free software.
A lot of software costs tons of money and investment to build. Is there something inherently wrong with selling software?
