The X-Files started off on Fridays - http://www.chriscarteronline.com/articles/xfiles/1 993/Fridaynightcontact.html It used to air right after The Adventures of Briscoe County, Jr., which unfortunately did not survive. I'm pretty sure X-Files moved to Sunday when Millenium started.
