I'm missing how when some person who holds a patent forever and then decides to make news x years later is either yay-ed (this case) or boo-ed (Blackberry case).
Whats the difference besides he didn't try to shutdown Sony?
A lot of people actually say that LED's are great because they'll be using one watt instead of sixty. Furthermore, a lot of the energy that goes into the diode is being converted into light, not heat.
They'll burn longer, but the problem is that they require so little power, they'll need a decent sized resister so the thing doesn't blow when you turn it on. To be extremely efficient, it'd need some sort of setup so that it has some capacitor or whatever... Capacitor is full, sends electricity to light. ETC.
Advertisements are just cool with me. I think that there are some really good ones out there that I actually enjoy watching just cuz I get a kick out of 'em. So if all those companies out there want to start selling me their free iPods, they might at least make their " the " advertisements interesting.
Also, to support Slashdot and what not (cuz I just became a user) I view advertisements and what not and even click on them some times, just to give 'em a few points! ^_^
Ctrl+Shift+Del brings up a dialogue box if you're using 1.5...

This must be the least read topic in Slashdot. Everyone's moved on to Firefox :P
My neighbor's computer was bugged up pretty bad. Not to mention my driver's ed program. Ran spybot and I got quite a few entries. More than a page.
Are they counting individual registry entries... or?
