We are currently are planning to move up to v6 as soon as it ships (it contains many enhancemnts that our products will benefit from) just as we did with v5, so if apache dont have a version 6 available - then SO WHAT? we cant use it, our customers cant use it. THATS WHAT.
The main problem with this is that sun is already working on the next version of java (v6/mustang) which is in beta at this time. So Apache will always be (at least 1) version behind the current release from sun, and will always be playing catchup....
