If something is photocopied, surely it's not dead? Perhaps an artist would say it *IS* dead, whilst a logician would say it's *NOT* dead. Meanwhile, perhaps a philosopher would leave the question open. And what would the schoolboy say when the dog ate his homework? If he had a photocopy, would it still be an excuse?
