ummm, I wouldn't think that the commands would have to change, would they? Sun's NIS was originally called Yellow Pages (yp) and because of a trademark issue with (I believe) British Telecom, it had to change the name of the product, but none of the commands changed (ypcat, ypmatch, etc.). Are commands really trademarkable. I gotta put in my trademark on 'ls' today!:)
Just my 2 cents. I think that if they want OpenSSH to go as far as to change the command names, then OpenSSH should just ignore them and let them explain to a court why they waited until NOW to decide that they don't like 'ssh' (a protocol that HE chose to: first, open source; second, submit to IETF as an open standard.
Nothing too large to say here, however I would like to point out one thing...
I had problems with the IMAP server shipping with RedHat 7 after upgrading from RedHat 6.2. By being able to query the bug database, I found that my problem was not really a BUG, per se. It was the way that the IMAP server places mail (using/var/spool/mail/, instead of using mbox files in the user home directories.
It would have taken an amazing amount of time to find such an issues in other OS's (and even some other Linux distros), but by RedHat having BUZILLA open to anonymous, public access, I was able to migrate user mail to the proper placed without any major hassle.
I have to say that I took the RedHat class and exam and passed very well. I totally agree with this review. The exam made certain that you really understood what was going on during and after boot. I'm always in favor of hands-on exams over multiple choice.
RedHat has done a good job at making thier certification valuable. You can't just read a cram book and make it through this exam. You have to KNOW and more importantly DO it!
One note: We had a very experienced class, therefore our instructor was able to spend alot of time on additional details and items that normally wouldn't be part of the class. One of these was creating RPMS from source. We actually went through the process our creating our own kernel RPMS with our modified configurations. That really made the class worthwhile!
I don't mean to be rude, but that's the general jist of the situation he put himself in. First of all, the Mac is Dead. The iMac made sure of that. What a piece of degenerate crap. Secondly, why is the author dicking around with a tech guy or a supervisor when he wants to revamp Company policy? What the fuck is he doing? Does he think these people have ever met the CEO of Bell? Damn, clueless twit. Thirdly, if this Mac degenerate had a clue, he wouldn't be using a Mac.. And if he ever worked as a tech, he would have long ago killed himself trying to tell Mac users why their computer has a "Frowny" face. That's the level where most Mac people start off. People bought the iMac, because it was being sold as easier to use than windows.. hehe.. Shit. I didn't know there were negative Intelligence Quotients. I don't mean to be overly hostile towards this person, it's just that he is acting from ignorance of computers, company command, and capitolism in general. That's why he got no results. That's also why the Mac is Dead.
